My Cambodia Expedition

Hello. I'm Martina and I love helping people, travelling and exploring unknown.
In July 2017 I'm going to Cambodia for 4 weeks to help out in local communities and explore this beautiful country. I will help build facilities the locals need, work on environmental projects, teach English and for a while experience Cambodian life.
I've been thinking about various volunteer expeditions for a long time. I used to fundraise for various causes with Unicef few years ago in Slovakia. Then I volunteered in a local church café for 7 months, helped out kids' bible weeks etc. And why? Because there is nothing better than knowing that you can lend a helping hand to those who need it. Whether it is financial, or in person physically helping: every little counts.
However, I will not be able to go to Cambodia without your help. My mum has two children, me and my brother, and a one pay-check family simply can't afford an expedition like this. I wouldn't have the heart to ask her for money she cannot give me.
The expedition costs £3,710 plus vaccinations and the kit, however I already managed to pay £2,625 thanks to donations from my family and friends, my savings, having two jobs, organising a coffee morning and selling my handmade jewellery and cupcakes.
Out of the £3,710, about 40% goes straight back to the communities for employing locals, building the facilities they need and improving their lives.
So I'm asking you: could you help me sponsor this journey? I will do my best trying to raise the money I need, do bake sales, coffee mornings, car boot sales, work during weekends and holidays. But £3,710 is a lot and to achieve my dream I need to raise this amount before June 2017 and there is still a long way to go.
