Hey everyone!
I have been given a great opportunity to travel to Sri Lanka alongside SLV.Gobal for my first volunteer trip!
I will be spending a total of 5 weeks in the capital, Colombo. During my time in Sri Lanka, I will be doing a range of volunteering. I will be working with patients in a psychiatric hospital, mentoring and assisting in child development, teaching English to children and the local community and assisting individuals of special needs and those in mental health care homes.
I am really looking forward to contributing all of my efforts in bridging the gap between mental health/illness and resources in Sri Lanka.
