With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved elder, Kohen Hamandishe, a revered leader of the African Lemba Israelite community. Kohen Hamandishe was more than a spiritual guide—he was a living bridge between our past and future, embodying the rich heritage of the Lemba people while guiding us with his profound wisdom, unwavering faith, and boundless compassion.

Throughout his life, Kohen Hamandishe devoted himself to serving others, preserving the cultural and spiritual traditions of our ancestors, and fostering unity among all who knew him. He taught us what it means to live Torah with dignity, integrity, and love. His departure is a tremendous loss, not only to our family but to everyone whose lives he touched.

As we prepare to give him the honorable and dignified farewell he so richly deserves, we humbly request your support. Our goal is to raise funds to cover the funeral expenses and ensure a memorial service that reflects his extraordinary life and legacy.
