Our beautiful and beloved Jill Cartrette Smith passed away a few weeks ago after a sudden and aggressive battle with cancer. Jill was one of the most vibrant members of our community, with a love for her family, friends, good music, and her furry four-legged friends.
We are all stunned and heartbroken by her passing and would like to honor her with a gift to her 2 young children and husband she leaves behind in the UK. She touched the lives of so many people, and her untimely passing left very little chance for preparation, so we ask you to help us make a donation to her little girl and little boy. All funds raised will be sent directly to her family and used to help secure their futures, something Jill would have wanted.
There will be a Celebration of Jill's life at the Char Bar 7 in Southern Pines on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 1-3pm. Please join us to share some of our favorite memories and stories for a beautiful person that will be greatly missed.
