Melvin (Jimmy) Rearick

Hi, to start off my name is Sara Cline. I’m the fiancée of Jim’s son Matthew Rearick. Many of you may now know that Jim Rearick was recently diagnosed with stage 3A lung cancer on September 23, 2021. Jim has been the chief of Markle VFD for many years now, as well as a member for over 30 years. He has dedicated a lifetime of service to local communities. He is a husband to Debbie of 40+ years, and is a father of two sons. Oldest son Mike who lives in Florida with his wife Jennifer and two daughters Madison and Luna. Youngest son Matthew Rearick and his fiancé Sara of Allegheny Township. He has also served various communities as an EMT as well, with the devastating diagnosis, he can no longer continue. Once chemo begins, his ability to support his wife and household with be even more difficult.

 

Markle VFD will be holding a comedy show, November 20th, that all proceeds from this event will be going to Jim Rearick to assist during this difficult time.
