Melvill Fundraiser for Giving Week - Run for HYT

This year, the girls in Melvill will collectively run 285km, symbolising the 285,000 refugees in Bidibidi, to raise money for HYT. Each of your daughters will run 4km this week to support this cause. This week is Haileyburys giving week. During this time, all donations will be matched by an anonymous donor, making this week an especially impactful opportunity to contribute. Your support during this period will have double the effect!

HYT trains young Ugandans in a sustainable, environmentally-friendly building technology, giving them construction skills and improving their education, health and employment opportunities.

We also transform communities, constructing low-cost school buildings, affordable housing, rainwater storage tanks and sanitation facilities. This is done in a way that preserves rather than damages the beautiful Ugandan landscape.
