Sudden Moving Expenses

Donation protected
Hey there, friends and fans!

A little over a month ago, our household got an opportunity to move out of our small rental duplex and into a larger, nicer home in a much safer neighborhood, with a nice yard and nearly everything we could ask for, for roughly the same monthly cost as our rent.

The only downside, is that this is happening at a time when money was already tight (especially with my work pace slowing down because of my arm problems), there will need to be some renovations before we can safely and comfortably move in (including some electrical work and plumbing), and because of some issues with the seller dragging their feet, we had to push back the closing date multiple times and are going to end up paying for at least one more month of rent we weren't planning on.

This, of course, is on top of the usual stresses and expenses of moving, like utility deposits, renting a truck, gas, boxes, the fast food we're going to have to eat until we have a functional kitchen set up, etc.

I wasn't saying anything about it until we knew, for sure, that everything was going through, which we weren't even 100% sure of until very recently. But now we know, and we only have a few weeks to get ready and get moved!

Most of the hard work is being done by my partner, Treppan, and his girlfriend, Marie, so I will still be working on commissions and putting out art as much as possible, but I really don't want to take on more commissions right now if I can help it.

The $1500 amount listed would pretty much solve all of our problems (at least, the ones related to moving and our new house), and make the move as seamless and stress-free as possible; this would help cover the extra month of rent, plus hiring professionals and buying materials to do some of the work involved. Even if we get less, any amount helps. If we somehow go over that amount, we'd probably just save the rest towards home improvement or future bills, but that would be fantastic.

We should be able to survive even without donations, but they would make a HUGE difference on our peace of mind and comfort, and help take some of the load off of everyone involved.

If you can spare anything at all, we'll appreciate every penny. Obviously, donations would help most, but if you want to commission me for art, as long as you can put up with the wait, I'm open through the usual channels.

Thank you for reading all of this, whether you can help directly or not.

I appreciate all of my friends, fans, and customers, you're all amazing people and I wouldn't be anywhere without you as it is. <3
