Melody's Medical Brigade to Ecuador

This spring break, I will be traveling to Esmeraldas, Ecuador to help deliver medical services to families in need on a MEDLIFE Mobile Clinic. 

MEDLIFE is an organization that works WITH each individual community to decide together what would most benefit the residents. As a volunteer, I will spend 8 days in Esmeraldas to work with local medical professionals on the Clinic to address community-wide issues, such as sanitation and sustainability, and provide care to the people however I can. I will also have the opportunity to work on a unique community development project along side the residents. Through MEDLIFE, students like me are truly able to make a difference by helping those in poverty.
