Mellon Educate 2025 TY Blitz

Hi I’m Deniz Turan a TY student in Belmayne Educate Together Secondary School, and together with 9 other TY students we are travelling to Cape Town South Africa on February 1st 2025 for a week to work with the local schools within the Mellon Educate Literacy Programme and a range of volunteering projects.

We will also be introducing hurling and camogie to the children in the schools while we are there.

As Nelson Mandela said "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

I would be very grateful for any amount that you could donate towards this amazing charity and support a life changing experience. Every cent will help us individually all hit our fundraising target of €3500 each before we travel in February.
