On Monday April 1st while working in the light of her garden, Melissa Weigel passed away suddenly from natural causes.
She was a bright light with a generous heart that held and cared for many of us, from family and friends, to community, to dogs, ducks, and orphaned sheep.
Melissa’s adventurous soul was always seeking to learn, embrace, and explore the world around her.
As a loving wife and an incredible mother, she laughed, loved, and created dreams with her family.
A therapist with a compassionate and authentic presence who allowed for truths and stories to be shared and heard.
Melissa was a passionate woman who listened and followed her heart, and loved with her entire being. She will be deeply missed by those who had the honour of sharing her beautiful, fearless spirit.

Through the next coming weeks and months we hope to alleviate the financial burden on the family that comes with such a sudden and unexpected passing.
All funds raised will go directly to Melissa's husband, Neal, to assist with the associated costs of the memorial, and to help the family with daily and ongoing expenses.
Melissa is survived by her husband Neal, her two beautiful daughters Sofiya and Aneira, and their animals.
The family appreciates all the positive thoughts, prayers and support during this extremely difficult time.
