"When a person decides to become a nurse, they make the most important decision of their lives. They choose to dedicate themselves to the care of others."

Megan, an ICU nurse at UK and a CRNA student at UC, made a commitment and dedicated her life to the care of others. I have witnessed her compassion, her intelligence and her strength multiple times, as I have worked beside her. She perfectly exemplifies the nurse and the heart that you would want to care for your dad, mom, husband or best friend. 

However, for the past year, she has been faced with multiple hospitalizations. The last hospitalization has lasted three weeks . She has received no answers, despite growing weaker. She is unable to work and her husband James, has stayed by her side, through multiple biopsies, scans and tests. 

So I am asking for help. Megan, who has cared for countless others, now needs our help.
