Megan Kendall's Much Needed Lift Up

Hello, my name is Keith Sampson, and there are times when we are propelled forward to help someone that has done everything in their power and still needs help.

This is one of those moments. Meg Kendall is one of my team members at Cloud 9 Multisport, but more importantly, she is a member of a community of people that have served this area with selflessness and kindness. Many of you may know her mother, Gena Kendall, especially if you were ever a Kendall Camper at Lincoln Elementary or a parent of a Kendall Camper.

Two weeks ago, Meg finished her radiation treatment in her fight against cancer. Her heart and will had been strong, but as we know, cancer is one hell of an opponent to fight. She has been winning, although it has taken a lot out of her to do so. Due to medical insurance reasons, Meg is limited on how much she can make a month, so she doesn’t lose the healthcare that she needs. Meg joined Cloud 9 shortly after we opened, working as much as her body and limitations allowed.

Sunday night, Meg had a truck pull out in front of her on the highway, hitting it at about 60 miles per hour. Her 2010 paid off, Toyota Rav 4 was totaled, and thankfully, she and the others walked away with minimal injuries.

It’s time to change the world, even for one person. This Go Fund me is to help Meg replace her totaled Rav 4 with the pictured 2017 Rav 4 Toyota of Warsaw is holding for her. With the used car market the way it is, there are not many options out there, and regardless, this is the right car for a girl who has fought so hard to stay positive and encourages others. It will last her for many years. The rest of the funds raised will go towards any medical bills or needs that she may have.

We are calling on our community, Kendall campers and their families, and anyone so inclined to lift Megan up, gift her in this time of need, and allow her to continue to focus on her recovery from radiation and the fight she has been fighting.
