Raising Money for Medical Kits
PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO BEFORE GOING ON....
A few weeks ago, I started a GoFundMe to raise money for the purchase of medical kits for the FLAGLER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. These medical kits cost about $100.00 each and they are in need of about 100 total. To date, we have raised $400.00 on this page (as of 8/23), we will be receiving a $1,000.00 donation from Coldwell Banker Premier Properties in Palm Coast, Florida (thank you very much CB) and Heroes First Home Loans has donated $5,000.00 towards the $10,000.00 goal. What this means is, we need to raise $3,600.00 (or more) by August 30th when we will be presenting the Sheriff Staly with a check for these medical kits.
Since my original posting, this incident from the video has happened to a friend of mine, Deputy Jonathan Duenas. Deputy Duenas and his K-9 partner "Valor" were featured in my original picture on this GoFundMe page and have since had a life or death situation happen as you can see from the video. Thank God Deputy Duenas is safe and all is well, however as you can see from the video sometimes these situations go down differently and medical supplies are needed until EMS can arrive.
So it is with a great heart I ask for your support with this effort to raise the money for these Heroes. Many think that tax dollars are enough to protect our public servants with the right equipment and that is not the case in many ways. It is times like this we as citizens who care about others come together along side these brave men and women and join the fight. Will you donate $5.00, $10.00, or even $100.00 to this cause. $100.00 buys 2 medical kits (because of the matching) and we are short $3,600.00. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
