Medical & Living expenses for Lori

A little over six months ago, Lori Lynn Peterson suffered a subdural hematoma, or traumatic brain injury, due to a heavy fall outside her home in Wildwood, NJ.
After being treated at the hospital in Atlantic City, results showed a possible stroke, severe degenerative disc disease in the neck and spine, cochlear ear trauma/traumatic hearing loss, severe vertigo, tinnitus, and ear recruitment (among many other issues).

Anyone who has met Lori knows her to be a loving, fun spirited, energetic, hard working, kind hearted woman. She always took care of her family and friends before herself, and strives daily to be a good person in this world.

The affects from her accident have been devastating. Prolonged drowsiness, severe headaches/earaches, loss of balance, shaking, concentration issues, limited social activity and driving, severe short term memory loss, and emotional trauma are just a few of the physical symptoms she is suffering from.

We have exhausted all our options for help financially. We have used up all personal savings and have reached out to friends and family. My mother's temporary disability has run out and it can take years before she can get approved for permanent disability.

While still unable to work, her medical bills continue to rise. Continued MRIs, doctors visits, neurological rehab and pain management are very costly as well as living expenses to keep a roof over her head.

The campaign goal is equivalent to one years worth of expenses. We are hoping for permanent disability to come through by then.
