Vanessa is currently battling cervical cancer. She’s undergone chemo and radiation and is over halfway through her treatments. Her prognosis is positive but we won’t know whether her treatments have been effective until January.
Her insurance has a very high deductible and there have been a lot of additional medical and health-related expenses related to the cancer. There have also been a lot of unanticipated life expenses that have added to the burden.
She is not working at this time and will need some recovery time after her treatments are finished before she is able to jump back into things.
