Medical for my mom to help my father

As many of you know my mother suffered a massive stroke on October 10th, 2020. She is home now but has to remain in a hospital bed, she can transfer to a wheelchair for short periods but can't sit up for long. She is receiving physical/speech therapy at home as well as frequent nurse visits. She has a LONG road ahead of her. My father is definitely going to need help financially as her prescription medications are costing well over 1000 per month. Any help for my parents would be MORE than appreciated. My father refuses to ask for any help, but my sister and I KNOW that he needs it.
