Medical Bills during this season

Hello All,

I’m Kenneth, live in Jackson, Mississippi and a native. But at the end of March, I will be temporarily in Houston, Texas, at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital.

I was diagnosed last summer with Myelofibrosis, and will undergo chemo, and a stem cell donation/transplant starting in April. This will be a 3 to 4-month recovery journey for myself and my family. This will include chemo for the beginning of my stay, to kill all the cells in my body, in preparation for the transplant. After that process is completed and successful, I will undergo a transplant from my donor, and those cells will begin to assist my body with recovery from the disease.

Since my diagnosis, I have incurred hospital bills due to my illness and constant treatment. I have been able to stay above water, since I’m still working my jobs. However, with my upcoming hospital and rehab stay, I will not be able to work for the next 5 months or so and the estimated bills will total over 400k.

I’m asking for assistance to assist me with my health care cost and living situations during this chapter in my life.
