Medical and Burial Services for Mom

Today we lost our beloved mother to her incredibly long battle with cancer and COPD. Our mom fought until she took her last breath for our family. Not many people know that our mom was on hospice for over 1 year, when most people do not last more than a few days/weeks. But, she was not like other people, she was a fighter! Strong is an understatement! Although our mom was sick for a long time and this was expected sooner or later, it does not make it any easier on anyone she leaves behind, physically, mentally, or emotionally. Today I learned that no matter how ready you think you are, no matter how prepared you think you may be, you are NEVER really ready to loose someone you love, especially a parent. My family has gone through a lot over the last year with trying to keep up with my moms hospice care, medications, and much more that it has left everyone in a difficult place financially to afford a proper service and burial for her. Although it is something we would never do, we are asking for any kind of donation to help give our mom some kind of service to remember and honor the fighter that she was and we will all remember.
