Meals 4 Monologues - UK

Actors Pro Expo & Casting Society Cares have been collecting donations for food banks during the last 3 years at both our UK & US events. We are used to filling up an entire van, and handing it over to numerous food banks. Now we've had to turn virtual, our efforts to support local food banks will not end! 

Covid 19 has had a much bigger impact on our society than having to turn Actors Pro Expo into a virtual event! It is forecasted the need for food banks will have increased by 61% over the last year. In the early part of the pandemic around half of people who used a food bank had never needed one before. Although no official data has been published, with the huge effect on freelancers and the arts - we believe it's safe to assume many of those now needing to access these services will include our very own community. 

Meals 4 Monologues is an opportunity to perform for Casting Directors & Casting Associates plus make a donation to The Trussell Trust to stop UK hunger.

CSA/CDG members will be devoting a full day to seeing actors online. Donations from performers to participate are welcomed, but not required.
