Mckenzie Jimenez 2nd Opinion

My daughter Mckenzie, is a 2 year old with complex medical needs including a gj tube, trach, and ventilator. She has an unknown likely genetic disease. We are working to get a 2nd opinion with one of the best genetic programs for kids like her. This hospital is in LA. The past year has been challenging for Mckenzie and both Sergio and I. We have spent most of our time in the Pediatric ICU hoping she each new intervention would allow us to take her home and care for her. Despite our efforts and those of the medical team she has only been able to stay home a few days before returning to the PICU. We are hopeful this second opinion will provide us with answers which will allow us to better understand McKenzie’s future. Thank you for your help and support.
