In places, Hurricane Irma hit Naples very hard. Hurricane winds tore the roof off Billy and Rosie's home, rains came in and soaked everything. Collier County condemned their home due to structural damage. A total loss.
I write those words, yet I cannot truly digest the impact of losing everything. Billy and Rosie had evacuated, so they are unharmed. Temporarily living at a neighbor's house.
Many of us know and appreciate Billy's work as Chef of Olé Condominiums. Billy, said to me, "I guess we don't know what God's plan will be for us." Then he spoke of others "who were worse off than me." Billy has great perspective, and we want to help Billy and Rosemary recover from their loss.
