Scarlett Anne-Faith

On Saturday Feb 7th, Lyza felt very sick, she rushed to labor & delivery at West Florida Hospital. After triage, Lyza's blood pressure was 80/50 and Scarletts heart rate was 90. About 10 min later Scarlett was delivered via emergency C-Section. Lyza lost a lot of blood and Scarlett lost Oxygen to her brain. Lyza had to stay at West Florida to later have a blood transfusion while Scarlett was transported to Sacred Heart NICU. Scarlett had a lot of brain damage from the lack of oxygen. She was placed on cooling blanket for 72 hours to try and help the damage but it was too much. She was the bravest baby we have ever met! She fought so hard! No one will ever know what happened that Saturday or why we had to lose our baby. But we are both firm believers that God has a plan!
