Maximus ACL Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Hey yall, my family was gifted a purebred Rottweiler in 2017. He quickly became a rambunctious member of the family. His name is Maximus and he is a huge teddy bear. He has always enjoyed running and launching himself off the back deck in pursuit of the neighborhood squirrels.

Overtime though, this has caused wear and tear on both his right and left CCL, which is the equivalent of an ACL in humans. He now has to undergo TPLO surgery, which is the most research backed and highest success rated (90-95%) for this type of injury. Unfortunately, high success rates are often followed by high price tags. After thorough vetting and price comparisons, it seems as though that price will be just too steep to manage.
Now, after only 4 years, my parents have had to have the hard conversation of giving up. This dog got my parents through some very tough times and losses. He has become the center of attention on the boring days and a sense of comfort on the hard ones. Please help me, help them. I feel so helpless to people that have spent their lives helping me. There have been many tears shed over the past few weeks. These funds will go straight into his surgery costs and extras will be donated to the local animal shelter.
His surgery will be completed by Veterinary Specialty Care: https://veterinaryspecialtycare.com/
If you cannot donate, please pass this along for my family. We appreciate any and every bit of support we can get.
