Aloha ‘ohana, friends, community and customers. Mahalo for all of the emails, phone calls, DMs and texts asking about the safety and wellness of the store owners — Jeff Ferguson, Diane Boyd, Kimo Falconer and Dierdre Falconer. Together, they’ve served the Maui community for several decades and the MauiGrown Coffee Company Store for the last 15+ years. We’re heartbroken to share that the recent Lahaina fires consumed not only Jeff & Diane’s home but also the MauiGrown Coffee storefront, warehouses, coffee production supplies and coffee roaster.
Over the years, the MauiGrown Coffee Company Store brought exceptional Maui coffee experiences to the masses but it also created hundreds of jobs and contributed to Maui's economy. The storefront has served as a hub of the community–acting as a cherished space for locals and visitors to connect over high-quality 100% Maui coffee. While COVID threatened to crush the store and presented many challenges, the owners persevered to continue delivering coffee to all of you, both locally and worldwide.
With so many unknowns ahead, we aren’t sure what the future of the MauiGrown Coffee Company Store will look like. What we do know is that any money raised will go to supporting the rebuilding of the MauiGrown Coffee business. We hope to make MauiGrown coffee available to all again soon.
Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for being part of the MauiGrown Coffee family and showing your support all of these years.
