Northern California – specifically Sonoma and Napa counties have been experiencing several massive uncontrolled fires in the past day. Matt and Janine’s area was considered a safe zone before they went to sleep last night; apparently that changed sometime during the night. Thankfully Janine woke up as fire surrounded their home and Matt, Janine, and their cat Mufasa were able to get out. With that said, they had minutes to evacuate and couldn’t grab anything. They literally have lost everything.
As you all know, Matt & Janine are like family to me. I know you all care for them very much too. With that said, if you are in a position to give anything please consider doing so. I originally set the goal at $1000 and with 11 donations in 6 hours we exceeded thatgoal. THANK YOU SO MUCH to those who donated - your generosity and love is felt and appreciated. With that said, lets try to get to $2000! Anything is helpful. Matt is set up as the beneficiary; all funds raised will be transferred to he and Janine for clothes, toiletries, meals, and anything else they may need until they can get back on their feet.

How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible): they have lost everything - this will be for meals that they will have to eat out, clothes that they will have to buy since they no longer have any, and any necessities/toiletries/living expenses until they find a more permanent place to live.
