Welcome to my Eagle Scout Project Fundraising site!
My name is Mason Jeffries, and I'm in 7th grade at Waukee Middle School. I am working on my Eagle Scout Rank with Troop 208 in Clive, Iowa. My Eagle Project requires me to plan a Scout-led Community Service Project, fundraise to purchase materials, recruit volunteers, and manage the project to completion.
For my Project, I've been working closely with the Waukee Public Library and will be landscaping the front of the Library following it's recently constructed addition. I want to create a more welcoming front for the entire Waukee community to enjoy.
I started in January and will have it completed in June. This work requires digging up all the old existing plants, installing metal bed edging, laying weed barrier fabric, planting 25 new shrubs, bushes, perennial flowers and grasses and then finishing beds with either mulch or river rock. We will top off the landscaping with a commemorative plaque mounted on a large limestone rock in front of the building. Actual work will be done during the weekend of June 6th with volunteer help from more than 30 friends, family and Boy Scouts.
In order to make my project a reality, I am asking for your generous financial support. My current budget is over $2,200, and all funds must be raised before I can proceed. Your $50, $100 or $250 tax-deductible donation (or any amount you can donate) would be greatly appreciated and help me complete this important step toward earning my Eagle Scout.
