Martin's Dental Mission to Jamaica

Hello Family and Friends!
As you all know I am a rising third year dental student at Howard University College of Dentistry and you know as they always say "With age comes responsibility" and honestly, I am more than up for the challenge. I accept the responsibility of progression, progression in my studies, progression in my skills, progression in my giving back to the community locally and globally, and most of all progression in my walk with God, he is truly allowing me to be a vessel that shows the world that dreams really do come true. It is through the Christian Dental Society that once again God has "Shown up and Shown out" in my life! I was chosen out of a very competitive group to be a part of a week-long mission trip to the West Indian island of Jamaica (July 22nd - July 29th) where we will be volunteering our dental services to the local underserved communities to which many have never received dental care a day in their lives. Although excited there is one small hurdle to still get over, "The Cost". As with many mission trips most of the funding is done by the team traveling to help. We receive very generous donations of supplies and other necessities however food, travel, and lodging are all a personal expense. I am asking for your help & support in making this trip happen and allowing me the opportunity to help as many people as possible with the gifts God entrusted me with. I believe this will truly be a life changing experience.
