Marsha Cates. Wife, mother & grandmother.

I am trying to raise money for the funeral expenses of Marsha Cates. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother to many. She was diagnosed with cancer in February of 2022. After chemo treatments it was decided by her doctor it would be best to stop due to the toll it was taking on her body. In early January she was sick and back in the hospital. Chemo was due to start back in the following weeks. A week later she was back in the hospital and they said there was nothing further they could do. The goal of hers, hospice and the family was her making it to May to see one of her oldest grandson's graduation. Saturday 01/28 she was rushed to the hospital with low blood pressure and needing fluids. They found her to be septic. She was discharged to home despite the family wanting a round of antibiotics. Sunday morning she was found deceased by her husband and grandson. We are trying to give her the funeral she wanted as a one last thank you for always being there for any and everyone. For those that know her that offer any support or prayers we will update the page with updates for the service and funeral when they are finalized.
