Humanitarian Mission Puerto Plata
Donation protected
I am currently raising funds for my 4th consecutive trip to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Each and every trip is different, but each trip has been extremely moving in its own way. The first year, we assisted in building a house for a 70 year old man with cancer, his first house to ever live in. That same year, we also helped in home construction of a woman named Dulce, who despite having no home, cooks and cares for all those in the community who are sick.
This past year, we installed a water filtration system in the community so that over 1500 families could receive consistent fresh water.
Each and every year, we donate over 1000 bags of food to families in need, including Haitian refugees. Some make less than $2 a day working in the bateyas (sugar cane fields).
Your donation will serve in the following manner:
Providing materials to build homes for the homeless.
Providing meals to the malnourished.
Providing clean water to those who do not have it.
For those who can not donate, please pray for Puerto Plata.
