Mark, Theresa and Baby Eva Marie

It's with heavy hearts that we share this with family and friends. In early December, our dear brother and sister in law, Mark and Theresa, announced to the world the upcoming arrival of their first child in May. Family and friends were overjoyed with the news. We all knew they would be great parents, and everyone was excited to add another little person to our growing family. They learned in January that their little bundle of joy would be a girl, and they would call her Eva Marie which means “rebellious life”. This is now more fitting than ever as this little girl will move mountains just to enter this world.

Eva Marie has been diagnosed with a rare and life threatening condition called Thanatophoric Dysplasia (Type ll). Mark and Theresa are beyond devastated by this news, but are surviving though faith in God as they pray for a miracle for their little girl.  In order to support them through this difficult time, our family is trying to help ease some of their financial stress by raising funds to put toward their growing expenses for genetic testing, hospital parking, prolonged NICU stay, and possibly funeral expenses. This may even help them worry less about things like meals and house cleaning.

With our world still experiencing lockdowns due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, it’s not possible for us all to be there in person and we're trying help in any way we can.
