Mark Scaturro Health Care Fund

My dear friend Mark Scaturro who is 48 years old was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in March of 2020.  The cancer has metastasized to his brain.  Due to Mark's illness he has been unable to work (he is a gifted carpenter) Mark has Medicaid which gets him basic care.  The most recent Doctor that he has seen was a Rheumatologist who recommended water therapy, therapeutic massage and Chiropractic treatment.  None of these therapies are covered by insurance.  Finding the right Doctors who accept Medicaid has been very challenging.  Having help with providing better insurance would help get him to specialists who may have a better chance of diagnosing the cause of his severe pain.  Mark is a fighter and even though he is dealing with debilitating pain his body continues to fight the cancer.  He would like to try some alternative treatments to continue his fight.  Having private insurance would help accomplish this and perhaps allow him to get some upgrades on his home allowing him to get a therapeutic tub to ease some of his discomfort.
