Marion Volunteer Fire & Rescue in Marion, MS desperately needs YOUR Help.
We are asking YOU for your Help to fund a new (used) SUV for use as our Rescue/EMS Response vehicle.
We are seeking $15,000 with this campaign to help to fund a SUV, like a Blazer/Tahoe or similar size, for this purpose.
Responding in the full size fire truck is wasteful and overkill, not to mention slow and unsuitable for quick response to some of the residences that sit further from the roadway.
Our annual budget is under $16,000 and insurance, fuel, utilities for the firehouse, and other expenses are subtracted from that by the Town Government before we can use any of it for equipment and such.... and that funding was cut back recently.
Marion Fire & Rescue is a 501(c)3 Charitable non profit fire department, registered with the MS Secretary of State.
