Maria's Mozambique Fellowship!

After a late start toward my career, I couldn't be happier to announce my acceptance in the Love The Oceans fellowship through Minorities in Shark Sciences (MISS)!

Throughout the opportunity, I'll be living in the town of Imhambane, where we will be helping in building their very first high school and aiding in teaching their youth how to swim! We'll also be able to experience once-in-a-lifetime opportunities like megafauna research (humpback whales and manta rays!), scientific dives for coral reef research, and an overall holistic approach to conservation.

This is an incredible chance for me to live the life I've been taught to lead throughout my education and upgringing; by persisting with kindness and love, and doing my absolute best to make this world a happier and healthier one before I go.
