Marianne Gatto-McCann Humane Society Memorial

Our mother loved dogs. She refused to enter any shelter because she'd want to take all the dogs home with her. Marianne loved to take our dogs to the dog beach, river rafting and to the dog park. She'd cackle at our dogs silly antics from rolling over for belly rubs to them chasing each other. 

We debated on whether to make a large donation in her name to ASPCA or a local shelter. Every year she donated to ASPCA after crying to the 'In the Arms of an Angel' ad (like we all do). We ultimately decided on donating to our local shelter- Pasadena Humane Society. We adopted most of our dogs from there and we're happy knowing exactly where the funds are going toward. We'd like to get a Friendship Garden Tile in her memory at PHS.

Unfortunately with Covid-19, we aren't doing a service, although we are planning a rememberance of life sometime next year.. However we'd like to thank you for your condolences and sweet stories of our mother. She loved each person in her life strongly.
