Marco "Mu" Maldonado

The world lost a very bright star and a wonderful human being with the passing of Marco Maldonado. Mu was generous, beloved and a fierce advocate. He spent 27 years as an innocent man in prison, fighting for his own freedom, and the freedom of many others. Upon his release, less than 3 short years ago, he joined Phillips Black, where he continued to devote his life to fighting for other wrongfully convicted people. So many are (and will be) free because of Mu's work.

His sudden passing has been difficult for the many who loved him so much. Because he spent most of his life unfairly in prison, his family needs assistance to settle his affairs. Please consider donating to help offset this cost.
