Marc Husch's Medical Expenses
Spende geschützt
Marc is the father/step-father to 5 children, husband, ex-husband, and friend. He needs to get 2 tests done to get a clearer picture of the Mesothelioma and its progression.
In 2020 Marc started having health issues and was paying out of pocket. Eventually, Marc had to stop working from lack of energy to keep up. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and had lost 50 pounds; though he seemed to have recovered his breathing continued to be an issue. He went to his primary for a check-up. His primary care physician said he needed a CT scan and found WeCare (a medical expense assistance program) that was able to help. After reviewing the scans the primary doctor said it possibly looked like malignant mesothelioma. But Marc needs to see an oncologist and have a knees-up pet scan and a brain MRI to get a complete picture and check for metastasis. In order to see an oncologist, to make an appointment with an oncologist he needs to have the cost upfront or insurance. He has neither at this point. So, his next step would be to apply for Medicaid but in order to get Medicaid, he needs to be disabled. Unfortunately, he is not considered disabled at this point. This money would help us move forward to get the tests needed before its too late.
