Manchester to Milan Walk
Hi I'm Kai,
And I’m taking on an epic journey: walking from Manchester all the way to Milan – over 1,000 miles on foot, crossing countries and pushing myself through all kinds of terrain. It’s going to be tough, but I’m doing it to raise money and awareness for two incredible charities – Andy’s Man Club and Breaking Barriers NW.
Andy’s Man Club provides safe, judgment-free spaces for men to talk openly about their mental health. Their message – “It’s okay to talk” – is saving lives and helping break the stigma that stops too many men from speaking up.
Breaking Barriers NW supports children and young adults with disabilities and additional needs, helping them overcome barriers in society. They focus on inclusion, support, and giving young people the tools and opportunities to thrive.
The walk is a serious challenge. I’ll be setting off from Manchester and making my way down through the UK to Dover. After crossing into France, I’ll travel on foot through cities and countryside, heading through Reims, Lausanne and over the Alps before finally reaching Milan. I’ll be carrying everything I need on my back, walking through all weather, and documenting the whole journey along the way.
Every mile is for a purpose – to raise awareness, to show support, and to help fund the vital work these charities do every single day.
If you’re able to support with a donation, it would mean a lot and go a long way in helping both charities continue their work. And if not, even sharing this page or spreading the word makes a real difference.
Big love to anyone backing this – you’re helping make every mile count.
