Hello friends and family!!! This December I am heading to Haiti with my friend Jessica to volunteer at "Mama Baby Haiti". This is a non-profit birth center dedicated to improving the health of women and infants in Haiti.
Mama Baby Haiti is a non-profit birth clinic that provides free prenatal care, education, birth, postpartum, and pediatric care.
WHY CARE? Because Haiti has the highest maternal mortality rate in the Western Hemisphere!! Every 2 minutes a women dies of pregnancy-related complications! 99% of maternal deaths occur in developing countries.
PLEASE HELP!! I am trying to fundraise $1,000 to buy supplies to bring to Haiti. I am fundraising to buy blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, vitamins, baby supplies, and delivery instruments which I will bring to Haiti. I also am hoping to bring money to donate to the running of their facility in Haiti.
Even if you don't have money, please donate baby blankets, baby shirts, vitamins, or medical supplies..I will bring them to Haiti!
