Mallerys Lost it All - CampFire
Donation protected
Thursday we received a notice that our colleague, Jay Mallery, was evacuating his home due to a wildfire just east of the town of Paradise, CA. After watching the details on the news all night and learning the entire town was devastated, we received word Friday morning that Jay and his family had made it out safely and were with friends in Chico. Sadly they were not sure the status of their home at that time. We now know that the Mallery family lost their entire home and all of their belongings. He and his wife have 4 young children (8 to 14) and are homeschooled. They live on 6 acers in the unincorporated area on the outskirts of Paradise and raise goats and chickens to supplement their family. Jay has a heart of service and has worked for almost 20 years for The Salvation Army in IT. To know Jay is to know what service really means. He is the first person to jump into action when someone is in need or in crisis. Please consider donating to the help the Mallery family in their time of need. Thank you!
