On February 7th, 2019, Malissa suffered a stroke and a brain bleed and was admitted to the hospital, where she has remained since. Where she does not feel numb or weak, Malissa is in immense pain and discomfort. While all of her doctors are keeping a close eye on her, the stroke has left Malissa, Peggy, Brayden, and James with a long journey of recovery ahead.
Malissa is a compassionate and caring mother to Brayden and James and the loving wife to Peggy.
Malissa is the primary caregiver for the boys while Peggy is at work. She is constantly and efficiently doing all of the things that are required to run a healthy and happy home. The stress that comes along with a road to recovery is only multiplied by the financial burden of medical expenses. In addition, monetary donations will help Peggy work, support Malissa, and care for the boys. We greatly appreciate any donations that you can offer.
A loving mother and active community member with a contagious smile, Malissa brightens every room she walks into, wears her heart on her sleeve, and will go to the ends of the Earth for family, friends, and strangers.
