Hello my name is Alan Martin I am the treasurer of the Corlough Community First Responders. We have a group of volunteers who are cycling from Malin head to Corlough on Saturday July 18th which is an 176 kilometre cycle. It is in aid of our first responders group our aim is to purchase training equipment and defibrillators. We are based in rural west Cavan we have 31 trained volunteers and another 7 in training. We currently respond to heart attack cardiac arrest stroke and choking we work in conjunction with the National Ambulance Service. Our aim is to increase awareness of our group and to improve our ability to respond to emergency situations. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
