Malawi volunteering Trip

Hi my name is Eshli and I am a first year student at London South Bank University.  My passion is sport, more specifically swimming which is why I chose to study sports coaching. 

At LSBU I also became a sports ambassador and was one of the 10 students chosen out of 96 to go and volunteer at Malawi in summer 2020. I love to coach and work with little kids. I have volunteered at my swimming club (Haringey aquatics)
, at an after school club (Hanley crouch) and I’m also a lifeguard and support worker. I have always wanted to go abroad and help children who have much less than I have. 

As a sports student and sports ambassador our main goal when going to Malawi is to help children with their skills in sports and to teach them sports they don’t have the opportunity or equipment to be taught by their teachers. While we are there we will also be donating basketball nets, football nets, netball nets and lots of balls.
For me to be able to go to Malawi and help these children I need to raise £1500 which will cover the whole 2 weeks and a half that I will be there. I have put £2000 instead of £1500 as I would like to donate £500 to the school so that they can buy basic equipment like books, pens, pencils and so on. 

I will appreciate any an amount that you are able to donate and I am very great full.
