Maintaining Healthy Minds through COVID-19

· ISAND is a Toronto based non-profit organization serves individuals with autism and other developmental disorders

· ISAND’s team of experts provide medical care, therapy, as well as mental health and wellness supports for individuals and families

· Due to Covid-19, ISAND’s clients have not been able to attend their regular therapy sessions. This can be harmful to client’s long-term developmental process.

· Brighter Together has stepped-up and is looking to raise funds in order to provide ISAND with the PPE they need so that they can continue to help individuals living with autism and/or other developmental disorders

· To reopen in-person therapy sessions, ISAND needs a minimum of 4 plexiglass shields. These shields must be sturdy and durable enough to protect clients of all ages. After some intensive research and a lot of deliberation, ISAND and Brighter Together have established that the best option is offered by Moneris.

· The plexiglass shields from Moneris will guarantee that team members and clients are safe from any Covid-19 concerns. Each shield is priced at CAD $222 +HST. We are seeking funding for 4 shields but may require more in the future.


· This fundraiser is cent-for-cent. All donations will be used to fund this project - in fact Brighter Together will cover all of GoFundMe's fees.
