Support Konstruktor and Its Team

If you are seeing this campaign, chances are you are a plastic bricks toy fan like us, and we need your help to maintain our ecosystem while we are looking for a new supplier. 

We set the goal to keep the most essential resources of the ecosystem up and running at least until September by which time we hope to be able to reach some kind of an agreement with a potential supplier. We promise that if the community is kind enough to support us beyond that goal, we will distribute the extra funds among our outstanding team.
 
Below you can read a summary of the recent events that have led us to launching this fundraising campaign.
 
Since October 2020, our small but enthusiastic and ambitious team at Konstruktor has been working very hard to provide the community with high-quality products and services at reasonable prices. Being brick fans ourselves, it was (and still is) our genuine intention to apply our knowledge and expertise to bring people around the world a way to easily purchase bricks and get them delivered to any of the 45 countries we serve with as little effort as possible. We invested a lot of time, effort, and money into developing our website in particular and the entire ecosystem in general, which we are very proud of. We know how everyone liked it, too, because we have received lots of positive feedback and appraisal from our customers — and that motivated us to move on despite numerous obstacles that we have faced.
 
As some of you may know, recently our supplier GoBricks has forced us to raise prices against our will, unilaterally stopped fulfilling our orders and then remained completely silent for more than a week. Hence we were left with no other choice but to break up with them, and cancel and refund all unfulfilled orders. In one and a half weeks we lost almost everything that we have been building for one and a half years. Most importantly, we lost our brilliant team of people who were bringing you the service of such quality that we are certain no other company would be able to surpass.

The only thing that we still haven’t completely lost is hope. We hope that we could survive this dark period, find a new supplier, and bring you even better products and services. But we cannot do that alone. So for the hope to become a reality, we immensely need your help.

We will be grateful for each donation, as it will help us keep our ecosystem alive. However, we are not looking for profits (in fact, we have never been profitable), so should we be able to surpass the set goal, we promise to distribute all extra funds among our team members to say thank you for their hard and inspiring work and to support them in the difficult situation they found themselves in.
