Maharani Medicine - A Call for Support to Expand our Vision

To our friends, family and community- we are humbly reaching out for your support during shifting times.

Maharani Medicine and the Lighthouse have been beacons of healing for thousands of people over the last six years. We have hosted over 120 retreats since our inception, held multiple transformational festivals and fostered a loving community those who seek chosen family. More recently, we found a passion for education and integration, providing resources for personal growth beyond the ceremony space. As a whole, our purpose here is clear- to bridge the worlds of Plant Medicine, Community and Spirit as one.

Today, we are being asked to adapt beyond our comfort zone. Seasons shift, cycles come and go; if our retreat center, home and vision is to survive, we must find new ways to thrive. We have spent a lot of time this Spring brainstorming the path forward, and there are many projects in the wings. In order for these ideas to come to fruition, we need to manifest resources beyond our current means. Therefore, we have created this fundraiser, with the hope of bringing necessary upgrades on multiple levels to this space.

Our mission is multi-tiered, and includes both short-term and long-term goals, with differing levels of priority. In essence, we want to continue holding retreats, but we ALSO want to expand beyond the ceremony room and open up our Land to further opportunities.

We’d like to lay out the potential developments, ordered from immediate priorities to extended projects:

IMMEDIATE PRIORITIES

Our most urgent needs are media, “marketing” & social media related- in an age of technology, we must sink or swim. With your contributions, we plan to:

1) Launch and maintain our upcoming website, which will be released this summer. This website will serve as a hub for our ceremonies, offerings, events, music, resources and educational material for all things Plant Medicine & Spirit.

2) Media & Promotional Material- This summer, we have a couple incredible opportunities to acquire professional video footage of the Lighthouse and our offerings here. One of these possibilities includes the possibility of hiring a professional filmographer to attend the Lighthouse Gathering to capture the essence of our community. These videos are going to showcase our property, skills, music and footage of testimonials from those who have benefited from this space. High quality visual material is going to bring a shine to our presence, and demonstrate our best qualities as an organization.

3) Use SEO Optimization services to increase our visibility, credibility & reputation on search tools. SEO Optimization will allow people to find our website & offerings more easily.

4) Hire a Social Media team and/or take courses to become more proficient ourselves. We want to research ways to gain more traction on Social Media in a way that feels authentic and grounded. There are numerous untapped avenues online to spread our gifts, but this is not a skillset we have mastered. Whether it is through reels, podcasts, paid ads or other routes, we’d love to hire someone to help us navigate these waters and help us gain more prominence.

5) Technology updates- We are planning on creating more online offerings & classes this year. We would love to upgrade our cameras, microphones & other relevant gear, to bring more professionalism to what is to come.

LONG TERM VISION

Once we achieve our immediate priorities, we want to dream big. The Lighthouse, and the land here, is absolutely gorgeous, but largely undeveloped; there is so much untapped potential that is far reaching, beyond Plant Medicine and what we currently offer.

We want to open our property up to events, retreats & workshops beyond Maharani Medicine. We believe this space can expand beyond ceremony, and be a meeting point for different modalities & healing paths. However, there is much refinement and work to be done to achieve this goal.

By developing the usable land around the property, we will create space for “glamping”, semi-permanent structures & other installations that will help our retreat center become more established and amenable to host not only ours but other offerings. Additionally, we hope we can repair existing structures on our property, such as the dock, and continue updating our main building with various renovations. We have already starting putting things into the works and hoping to continue this momentum!

It is our prayer that the resources generated here will allow this space to blossom into a new chapter of being. We are setting a large goal, because the more goodness we can call in, the more we can achieve. We know that times are challenging for many, so any amount truly goes a long way. Many hands make quick work. The sky is the limit, and with some miracles, we could perhaps someday even own the property. In the meantime, we would love to do what we can to grow and flow with the tides.

It was never the medicine, nor the ceremonies, that make the Lighthouse special. The beacon was lit by the hearts of the people who answered the land’s call. It is in honoring the sacred connections born from the intimacy of being human; of being in community, that we find the magic of this place. There comes a point when something becomes larger than ourselves, larger than one heart can hold. It is a mirror reflection of the love that’s been shared, the wounds that were healed and the connections created here.

We send this call for support out to the Universe now, and pray that the all the healing energy that has been cultivated here, returns to the space a thousand fold, and helps the Lighthouse vision continue on. We want this Space to grow above and beyond our wildest dreams… may it be so, and may the work persevere!
