Maggie's Place Holiday Fundraiser

Happy New Year, Friends! Through your generosity, we made it nearly halfway to our goal of $3,000! Our next challenge is completing that goal to ensure that the home is fully stocked through to the end of the year. That said, please consider sharing this page and donating to Maggie’s Place - Zechariah House (Ohio location) to ensure that our mamas and their babies are set for the year ahead.
Maggie's Place - Zechariah House is a community of homes that provide hospitality for pregnant women who are alone or on the streets. We have a two-fold strategy in assisting expectant mothers to grow. First, Maggie's Place provides for the immediate physical and emotional needs of our guests including shelter, food, clothing, and a supportive home-like environment. Secondly, we model family and a community. In addition, Maggie's Place provides ongoing counseling, learning opportunities and connects expectant mothers to appropriate agencies. Additionally, we provide resources including prenatal care, health insurance, low-cost housing, job placement and education programs in an effort to help them reach their short-term and long-term goals. In this way Maggie’s Place seeks to prevent the next generation of homelessness.
With core values of love, hospitality, community, and excellence, Maggie’s Place provides a loving and safe environment for women to thrive in their pregnancies and postpartum.
As a doula, I believe that every birthing person deserves a thriving, low-stress pregnancy that is physically and emotionally nourished. I’m hoping to raise funds to help provide the mama’s at Maggie’s Place - Zechariah House with prenatal, birth, postpartum, and lactation necessities. These items will help stock diaper bags and the "pantry" in the home.
Together, the amazing doulas at CLEbaby and N.E.A.R to You Doula & Midwifery LLC have helped compile a list of items and product variations that we use for our clients and believe that every birthing person deserves access to.
All donations are welcome! We're also asking for basic household necessities, maternity clothing, baby wraps, baby wipes, baby clothes, pack n play's, new unopened car seats, strollers, etc. We're happy to accommodate if you wish to donate directly. If you have something on hand that can be donated, that is totally appreciated, too.
Through your generosity, we’ll be able to ensure that the current and future mothers & their babies will be fully stocked with necessities.
