Gomer's MAGFest/Travel Fund!

Howdy, folks!
As the title of this campaign says, I'm looking to raise some money to get to MAGFest 2015, if possible. For me, the benefits would be twofold: One, I'd get to see and hang out with all the friends I don't normally get to see during the year and two, I could network, pass out my business cards, and maybe help get my name and site out there a little more.
The goal's at $1500, simply to account for the possibility of me having to go it alone (that is, no roommates to help split the cost). While food, transport, and registration shouldn't run more than $350, it'd be the hotel costs that would outright drain me (again, accounting for no roommates here).
Now, just to be clear, I've got a Patreon, but it doesn't bring in nearly enough to make this trip a reality. I've also had horrible luck finding a day job.
I'll be hosting a 24-hour livestream event on November 13, 2014, starting at noon, Central time. There'll be gameplay, videos from various producers on my site (rtgomer.com), and even a little game show segment where viewers could win prizes, ranging from free Steam games to DVDs!
Now, what happens if we don't reach the goal in time? What happens then? Well, that's when I take a look at what I have and either plan a trip to Chicago (namely because I'd like to see my girlfriend more than once a year, though I'd likely pick a con weekend, so it's not a completely personal trip) or put the money back into either the site or my own equipment fund, depending on the amount and the need.
