Madelyn's Mission to Walk

Donation protected
On January 23, 2020, Madelyn "Maddii" Quiroz was involved in a horrific car wreck and sustained serious bodily injuries. She had five broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung, head trauma, internal bleeding, a ruptured spleen, three breaks in her left arm, damaged the radial nerve in her left arm, a broken foot, a broken back and a serious spinal cord injury leading her to become a paraplegic. Many of you have heard about the tragedy of Madelyn's spinal cord injury. But today, we share the sparks of hope that have given us the strength to believe that Ms. Madelyn will walk again. No one really knows the struggle of being a paraplegic unless you have lived the nightmare. That said, Madelyn has accomplished many wins since the start of her journey. Check out how far Madelyn has come on her Mission to Walk!

Upcoming, Madelyn will continue her mission to walk at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago, IL where she will participate in Intense Physical Therapy for approximately six weeks. Following the intense physical therapy, she has been granted the opportunity to participate in a research study at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the world's premier institution dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with pediatric developmental disabilities and spinal cord injuries. The study will last for TWO months.

Madelyn's parents have exhausted all of their financial resources to help Madelyn's Mission to walk. However, Madelyn continues to show such promise to one day walk again!!! We need your help to get her there. See for yourself! If you are able to and find it in your heart to give Madelyn the financial resources to continue her journey... she promises to continue to fight to walk again!

Any amount would be a blessing. #TEAMMADDII
