Madeleine Caley's Purple Buddy Bench

Madeleine, who was more commonly known in the Girl Scout world as the Purple Lady, was one of the  most kind-hearted people you will ever meet. She viewed her girl scouts as her family and poured her heart and soul into the organization.  Due to her passion for Girl Scouts, a bench will be donated to and placed at  her favorite Girl Scout camp in her honor. This will specifically be a "Buddy Bench" where children who do not have  someone to play with sit and others see this and come to  join them. Madeleine was always making friends with everyone, so this is a fitting way to honor her memory.
