Support Maddox's Fight Against Cancer

This is Maddox. He's an amazing Black Lab who loves warm hugs and every person and dog he comes across! We surprised our 2 daughters with him 5 years ago at Christmas after we lost our Golden Retriever to cancer. Unfortunately at 6 months he presented with a small oral tumor. It got to the point where it needed surgical removal which was done once around 8 months but came back and again he had to go for surgical removal at around 2 years of age.

Both times the tumor came back aggressively. It was initially biopsied and determined it was non malignant however

when it came back the 2nd time we went to a specialist in Charleston, SC who sent off new biopsies and was determined to be an aggressive oral sarcoma. She also determined the tumor was too large and she was not be able to do surgical intervention due to the margins because it would simply come back quickly and more aggressively. He was given 2 weeks to live.

It has now been over 2 years. We started feeding him a raw meat diet and the tumor almost entirely disappeared within 6 weeks. Sadly after being gone for over 2 years it’s come back and is larger than it's ever been to the point where he's having difficulty eating.

Maddox still has a ton of love left to share and we are hopeful we can extend a quality life for him as long as possible. Given the traditional medical interventions didn't work we consulted multiple animal oncology specialists throughout the country and came across an Immunobiology group which gave us some hope. We plan to do one more surgical removal of the tumor then use Immunocidin therapy and a strict diet to keep the tumor from coming back. It's the only hope and prayer we have left for an amazing dog who's simply too young to give up on.

This will be costly as we've invested thousands into his treatments already. This is why we're asking for your help.
